It has worked with Austin Adams, Conner Sadzeck and possibly with Anthony Bass and Matt Carasiti while not so much with Jesse Biddle, Ruben Alaniz or Tayler Scott.
But given their organizational direction and the current roster, these sort of moves will continue for the remainder of the season.

Right-hander Matt Wisler was acquired from the San Diego Padres for cash considerations. Wisler was placed on the Mariners’ lone open spot on the 40-man roster.
