DALLAS, Tex. — Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced today that the Mariners have acquired left-handed pitcher Jesse Biddle and right-handed pitcher Arodys Vizcaíno from Atlanta in exchange for right-handed pitcher Anthony Swarzak and cash considerations.
Biddle, who will wear #36, will report to the Mariners Major League club.
Vizcaíno is currently on the 60-day Injured List after undergoing right shoulder surgery on April 17.
Biddle, 27, had a 2.38 ERA (3 ER, 11.1 IP) in his first 13 games this season (March 30-April 23) prior to being charged with 4 earned runs in 0.
