ANAHEIM, Calif. — Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today that the club has acquired infielder Ty France, right-handed pitcher Andres Muñoz, catcher Luis Torrens and outfielder Taylor Trammell from the San Diego Padres in exchange for right-handed pitcher Austin Adams, right-handed pitcher Dan Altavilla and catcher Austin Nola.
“We are excited to add four talented players to the Mariners organization, all of whom are playing in their age-25 or younger seasons. Ty France has shown the ability to play the corners of the diamond, while providing pop at the plate.
