Mariners ace Felix Hernandez yielded mixed results Sunday night in a rehab start with Class A Everett, but the right-hander came away feeling no ill effects from the strained right calf that's kept him from pitching in the big leagues since May 27.
Hernandez allowed three runs and six hits to the Spokane Indians in front of a sold-out crowd of 5,189 fans at Everett Memorial Stadium in what will mark one of two scheduled rehab starts. He threw 59 pitches, striking out six and walking two. The AquaSox eventually prevailed, 7-6, thanks to a walk-off, two-run single from center fielder Kyle Lewis, the club's first-round pick (11th overall) from June's MLB draft.
