The term “once in a generation” gets thrown around in prospect circles a bit too often for it to truly hold its core meaning. It’s obviously meant to signify the extreme caliber of player and the success people ultimately think they will find, but it doesn’t actually mean that a player with their skills will come around once in a generation.
