The majority of the episode is devoted to listener questions, in which John pretends not to actually be a big Cardi B fan, Kate hopes Darlene from Roseanne is living her truth in the reboot, and John provokes Kate’s ire/feelings of age-related existential despair by revealing he has never ever, not once in his life, heard of the seminal MTV show Daria.
