(WHAM) - If it isn't already, your old VCR will soon be an antique.
The last video cassette recorder in the world will be produced later this month.
Funai, a Japanese company, claims to be the only VCR manufacturer left in the world and said it will cease production on the VCR by the end of July.
Funai first began manufacturing VCRs in 1983.
The company said it only sold 750,000 units last year and found it was becoming harder to find the parts to make them.
