“The sky is the limit with this guy,” mused Mariners Manager Scott Servais while assessing what he saw from 24-year-old rookie Kyle Lewis at the end of last season.
For those who got a chance to see Lewis play last September, “the sky” might even seem like an unfair limitation to place on his talents. After homering for his first Major League hit on September 10th, Lewis went on to become the first player in Major League history to homer in 6 of his first 10 career games.
If there’s one takeaway from Kyle’s stint in Seattle, it’s that he hits the ball hard.
