Ken Griffey Jr.'s Hall of Fame suit was as cool as his legendary swing

Ken Griffey Jr. gave a heartfelt, understated speech at his Hall of Fame induction ceremony Sunday afternoon in Cooperstown, New York.

At first glance, Griffey's outfit wasn't flashy either. Navy blue suit with pinstripes. White shirt. Gold tie. Brown dress shoes.

But upon closer inspection, the pinstripes were actually small, vertical light blue text spelling out "Hall of Fame: Class of 2016."

The shirt was standard, but the tie had the Griffey "Swingman" logo on it, a nod to his famous left-handed stroke he made famous during his 22-year big-league career.

And, according the Cincinnati Enquirer, Griffey's Nike dress shoes were made partly of wood from one of The Kid's game-used bats.
