SEATTLE -- Mitch Haniger has opened eyes with his hot start at the plate this season, but the Mariners' right fielder can do work with the glove as well.
Haniger made one of the best catches so far this season in the fifth inning of Saturday's game against the Tigers, tumbling over the short fence down the right-field line to haul in a foul ball by Jose Iglesias.
Haniger landed on his back as he made the catch, then bounded back over the wall and came up firing to home plate as the Tigers' Niko Goodrum had tagged at second and was running on the play.
