Felix eyeing 20 wins despite stiff right elbow

ARLINGTON -- Mariners ace Felix Hernandez was removed from Sunday's 9-2 win over the Rangers with two outs in the sixth inning with a stiff right elbow, though the club said he is expected to be able to make his next start.

Hernandez was nearing the end of his outing at 105 pitches, but was replaced when trainer Rob Nodine and manager Lloyd McClendon went to the mound after he walked Rangers catcher Bobby Wilson.
