Former Mariners pitcher and current ROOT Sports Northwest analyst Ryan Rowland-Smith is making some waves by becoming the first pro baseball player, let alone pitcher, to participate on the NBC show American Ninja Warrior. If you’re unfamiliar, watch this! It’s an insanely difficult obstacle course show. It’s a bold move for RRS, but the opportunity was presented to him by his bosses at ROOT and he decided to do some training and go for it.
