Hello and welcome back to FanPost Friday. The Mariners are still in first place in the AL West in spite of another dismal road trip. At least they had the decency to win a laffer last Saturday while a group of devoted LL readers gathered at Growler Guys to watch. That was fun! Thank you all for coming out! However, the rest of the road trip was quite forgettable.
We’ve got about five weeks to go until the July 30 MLB Trade Deadline, but the clamoring for the Mariners to make a significant move to help the offense has already gotten quite loud.
