SEATTLE -- Left-hander Roenis Elias was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma to start Sunday's game against the Dodgers, but the Mariners also recalled right-handed reliever Chasen Bradford and optioned lefty James Pazos to Tacoma in another bullpen shift.
The club also sent infielder Gordon Beckham back to Tacoma prior to the series finale with Los Angeles.
Pazos' departure was something of a surprise, as he was one of just three relievers -- along with Edwin Diaz and Nick Vincent -- who were with the Mariners since the start of the season.
