Seattle Mariners legend Ken Griffey Jr. is the subject of an MLB Network documentary debuting on Father’s Day.
“Junior,” a 90-minute profile on Griffey’s rise to stardom in the 1990s, features interviews with icons across sports and entertainment — Edgar Martinez, Gary Payton, LeBron James and Macklemore being among them. The documentary is narrated by Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning actor Sterling K. Brown.
The documentary airs at 5 p.m. PDT Sunday on the MLB Network.
According to a press release, the doc highlights Griffey's journey from growing up in clubhouses watching his father, Ken Griffey Sr.
