For years Dave Niehaus told the story of the Mariners, whether triumphant or tragic, with his iconic voice during his Hall of Fame broadcast career.

Now during the 40th anniversary of the franchise, Niehaus has his own story.

Lifelong friend Billy Mac recently penned Niehaus' biography, entitled "My Oh My: The Dave Niehaus Story" with forewords by Rick Rizzs and Kevin Cremin. The 344-page bio of the late Niehaus is told in nine innings, each representing a chapter in his life.

The book details Niehaus' childhood in Princeton, Indiana, his college life at Indiana University and his early broadcasting career, and chronicles his positions with the Armed Forces Network, California Angels and the Mariners, for whom he worked from the franchise's inception in 1977 until his death in 2010.
