Designated hitter Daniel Vogelbach went 3 for 5, including a home run, to help the Tacoma Rainiers beat the host Albuquerque Isotopes 8-4 in a Pacific Coast League game Friday.
Vogelbach drove in two runs and scored three.
Tacoma, which lost the previous two days in Albuquerque, pounded out 14 hits.
First baseman Gordon Beckham, who was 2 for 5, also homered for the Rainiers (46-42).
Tacoma starter Williams Perez (2-0) went five innings, giving up three runs on six hits. He struck out eight and walked two.
Vancouver routs host AquaSox
The Vancouver Canadians had 15 hits, including five home runs, in a 9-0 victory over the Everett AquaSox in a Northwest League game seen by 3,389 at Everett Memorial Stadium.
