D-Span homers in 10th to complete comeback

PHOENIX -- After failing to capitalize on numerous early scoring chances, the Mariners rallied for a come-from-behind victory on Saturday night. Kyle Seager hit a game-tying two-run double in the ninth, then Denard Span's (D-Span) 10th-inning home run lifted Seattle to a 4-3 win over the D-backs at Chase Field.

With the Mariners down to their final out, Seager ripped his 30th double of the season down the right-field line, scoring Jean Segura (El Mambo) and Andrew Romine (Romi) to knot the game at 3. After Alex Colome (The Horse) pitched a scoreless ninth, Span's 10th homer of the year put Seattle ahead.
