All was right in the Mariners' world tonight. It was fun, and it felt like a step in the right direction. It's late, we're all tired, so I'm going to make it quick.
Sometimes, in the middle of a downward slump, a pleasant surprise pops up. For the Mariners tonight, it came in the form of one Wade Miley. From the start, things were looking up. First-inning woes be damned, Miley retired the side in order and took it from there. After a week of watching the wheels fall off of the starting rotation night after night, tonight was a breath of fresh air.
