TORONTO -- Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano was held out for a second straight game on Friday due to a sore quadriceps muscle in his right leg, and his status for the rest of the weekend series with the Blue Jays is uncertain.
"It kind of feels the same as it did yesterday," manager Scott Servais said prior to Friday's game at Rogers Centre. "He's going to try to swing a little in the cage, but it's still bothering him so we'll give him another day and hopefully get him in there Saturday and Sunday. But I'm really not sure.
