The Seattle Mariners and Cal Raleigh have agreed upon a six year, $105 million contract extension that buys out three years of free agency and begins in the 2025 season, per reporting by Jeff Passan of ESPN. The contract ensures Raleigh will be under contract with Seattle thru his age 33 season. Per Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times, the deal has incentives that can push the contract up to as high as $123 million. Per Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the deal includes a full no-trade clause.
