The Mariners acquired 28-year-old Austin Adams from the Nationals early in May, and in doing so added an analytically-focused pitcher with a highly-regarded slider and an eye on making an impact in the Major Leagues
I sat down with him in Tacoma shortly before he joined the big club.
What has it been like to get here and adjust to a new team?
It’s been great, Tacoma is a beautiful area, but I am really looking forward to spending time in Seattle.
