Another Losing Mariners Season Comes to an End

The Seattle Mariners wrapped-up the 2015 season today with a 3-2 win over the Oakland Athletics in a game that basically meant nothing. Thus another disappointing Mariners season comes to a close with a team that many favored to go all the way, finishing at 10 games under .500.

There are a few bright spots such a the great year by Nelson Cruz, a resurgent Franklin Gutierrez, the end of the Jack Zduriencik era and the kid Marte. But really after all the hype and waiting since 2001 for a playoff team, this season was actually a huge bummer that took the wind out of my sails months ago.
