After a bumpy flight and unexpected side trip Mariners land safely in Dallas

IRVING, Texas--The Mariners had a bit of an adventure trying to land in Dallas early Monday morning. The team was scheduled to land at midnight local time but storms in the area made this landing anything but routine. An attempt at an approach into Dallas was made but heavy turbulance forced the plane to circle and wait for a better window to land. Eventually an announcement was made that the airport had been closed due to the weather and the plane was being diverted to San Antonio to refuel and wait until the Dallas airports were able to allow planes to land.
