Well, those last two games sucked out loud. Thankfully, Marco Gonzales - top-20 pitcher in baseball by fWAR - takes the hill for the Mariners today, and he’s been on quite a run recently. Taking the field behind him is a new-look lineup:
Mitch Haniger has scuffled pretty badly to kick off the second half, and will hopefully benefit from being dropped from the three-hole. With the lefty Gonzales facing them, the Angels are running out a nearly entirely right-handed lineup, with the exception of one Kcqole Ckqalhoun. Félix Peña will be starting for them, and has been serviceable through 32.
