6/12/19: Open Game Thread

The Mariners may not have much this year, but they do have the only utility Shed in the division and the neighbors are very, very jealous. Tonight we will see what happens when we move him wayyy over there. Shed Long, 2B/3B/SS/C/ and now LF, played 74.2 innings of error-free left field in Tacoma this year in addition to his infield duties, having previously never played at the major or minor league level.

We’ve got Gerson Bautista opening before handing the ball off to Tommy Milone. Bautista, making his third appearance with the Mariners since coming up from Tacoma last week, was acquired from the Mets as part of the trade and the Mariners may not have much this year, but they do have the resentment of a lot of Mets fans over the losses of their Jarred Kelenic, Jay Bruce, Anthony Swarzak, Justin Dunn and maybe even this Gerson Bautista.
