#4MOM Night at the Everett AquaSox Friday, August 10th

On Friday, August 10th, the Everett AquaSox will be hosting “Local Heroes Night,” honoring people who make a positive impact on the local community. One of those people is Mariners prospect Braden Bishop, who will be honored for the work he’s done to spread awareness about Alzheimer’s, especially early-onset Alzheimer’s. The Mariners are even flying Bishop from his home in California, where he’s rehabbing a broken ulna, to be present at the event. As a bonus, the first 1,000 fans will get a Braden Bishop bobblehead, complete with a little #4MOM written on the forearm. #4MOM began when Bishop was playing his college ball for Washington; after learning of his mother’s diagnosis and wanting to do something to pay tribute to his mother, he took a heavy black Sharpie and wrote “#4MOM” on his forearm.
