Today is the last game of the Mariners’ four-game set at Fenway Park, and currently there’s a tarp on the field and “light rain” is falling. Per Shannon Drayer, however, the pitchers are throwing in the outfield and pitchers are throwing bullpens so for now we’ll assume game on. We’ll keep you updated here with any breaking developments, if there are any.
Today’s lineups:
Alex Verdugo was a late scratch for the Red Sox; Kiké Hernández will be in center instead, which could be advantageous for the Mariners as Kiké, delightful as he is, is not a natural center fielder.
