Ken Griffey Jr. was known as The Kid for more than one reason. He was renowed for his play on the field, as well as the playful tricks he played on teammates. Jay Buhner, Junior’s longtime teammate and close friend, recalls one prank in particular.

“So he got a bunch of big huge foam different-colored cowboy hats, and when I was going from the on-deck circle to home plate, of course they did the music and the game stopped for a second. Everybody stood up on the top step with all the foam hats.
