Per a report by Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times, the Seattle Mariners have sent 1B Tyler Locklear in transit from the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers, en route for Kansas City to join the Mariners in their clubhouse and on their roster in the wake of an injury to veteran 1B Ty France.

The move would mean the big league debut for Locklear, Seattle’s 2nd round pick in the 2022 draft, coming in 58th overall the year the M’s also plucked SS Cole Young in the first round.
