Tonight is the first non-Opening Day sellout crowd in T-Mobile Park history. Or, if you want to think of it less literally, in the history of the stadium now known as T-Mobile Park, the Mariners have not sold out a home weekend since, well, it’s safe to assume at least 2003.
Tonight is the Mariners’ first sellout since Opening Day 2019.
Ticket data only goes back to 2006, and they haven’t had a sellout this late in the season since.
So, essentially it’s the first final homestand sellout since 2001-02, when they sold out virtually every night.
