The Seattle Mariners have been getting a little help from their most recognizable superstar when it comes to recruiting impact bats on the free agent market.
According to Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times, Cano has spoken with free-agent outfielder Melky Cabrera about the possibility of making a move to the Pacific Northwest:

This isn't new territory for Cano, who also did his part to convince Cruz to come to Seattle:
Cano is obviously excited about the addition of Nelson Cruz. He talked with him multiple times this offseason about coming to the Mariners.

The Seattle Mariners appear to be all-in when it comes to upgrading their lineup heading into 2015, and landing a bat like Cabrera's to go with Cano, Cruz, Seager, and the like could make the Mariners an instant AL West favorite going forward.
