SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Santa Clara women's water polo team will make a roughly two-hour drive Thursday to Rohnert Park, California, for its final nonconference game of the season.
The Broncos (6-10), on spring break this week, will face Sonona State (10-10) for the second time this season.
The teams met in last month's Triton Invitational with the Seawolves holding on for a 5-3 victory as five players tallied goals. Freshman Hannah Buck scored twice for the Broncos, who have split their last four games.
The Broncos, who are receiving votes in this week's CWPA national poll, won the lone meeting between the teams last year, a 12-9 triumph in Santa Clara.
