LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Santa Clara women's tennis bounced back from its loss on Friday at Pepperdine to defeat Loyola Marymount on Saturday afternoon by a score of 4-2.
Santa Clara (7-9, 2-4 WCC) claimed the doubles point against Loyola Marymount (10-7, 2-3 WCC). The Broncos started doubles action with a 6-2 win on court three from juniors Zeina El Tawil and Giannina Ong. Senior Daniella Silva and sophomore Madison Clarke clinched the win for the Broncos with a 6-3 victory on court one.
The Broncos earned singles victories on courts two, four and six to secure the win over the Lions.
