SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis travels north to play crosstown rival San Francisco in a West Coast Conference match on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Santa Clara (5-10, 1-5 WCC) is coming off a weekend split at home beating BYU, 4-1 before falling to No. 38 San Diego, 4-2 and will look to build upon its first conference win.
"I was really proud of the team with how they performed against BYU and even in the loss to San Diego as I thought they played well," said Broncos head coach Ben Cabell. "The win gives us momentum heading into the weekend against San Francisco which will be another close match.
