SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Caitlyn Frankel had a hand in both clinching points for Santa Clara women's tennis against BYU on Saturday to help the Broncos pick up its first West Coast Conference win of the season.
The Broncos (5-9, 1-4 WCC) beat the Cougars (10-7, 3-2 WCC), 4-1, as Frankel, Elvena Gevargiz and Maddie Pothoff each picked up two wins on the day.
In doubles action, the Bronco junior played alongside Katya Tabachnik to defeat Polina Malykh and Madeline Almeida, 6-4 to earn the doubles point.
