SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Santa Clara women's tennis won its fifth-straight match sweeping Seattle University, 4-0, on Monday at the Mustang Tennis Complex in a neutral site match on the Cal Poly campus.
Giulia Hayer clinched the match at No. 5 singles taking down Aranza Sanabria, 6-4, 6-0. It was the junior's 10th singles win of the season and sixth in dual match play, both tops on the team.
The Broncos (6-3) picked up the doubles point when JennaMarie Gordon and Katherine Petty defeated Liliya Dimova and Sanabria, 6-3, on court two.
