SANTA CLARA, Calif. – In a crucial West Coast Conference showdown, Santa Clara women's soccer beat San Diego 3-0 Thursday night at Stevens Stadium to take sole possession of second place in the conference. With a victory in the regular season finale and a Pepperdine loss or tie, the Broncos will win the outright WCC title.
Kelsey Turnbow continued her torrid pace for Santa Clara (12-6-1, 7-1 WCC) with a goal and an assist. She has now scored in three of the last four matches. Kelcie Hedge also added a goal and an assist for the Broncos.
