SANTA CLARA, Calif.– Santa Clara women's soccer scored early and often, coming away with a convincing 5-0 victory over Utah Valley Sunday afternoon at home.
The Broncos (3-3) dominated from the opening whistle, scoring a season-high five goals while outshooting the Wolverines (2-4) 22-7 and 11-3 in shots on frame. They also collected nine corner kicks while not allowing any.
Kelsey Turnbow was the offensive star of the match, scoring two goals and adding two assists as well. Santa Clara also got goals from Izzy D'Aquila, her team-leading sixth, Machaela George, and the first career tally from Kaitlyn Parcell.
