SANTA CLARA, Calif.– Santa Clara women's soccer returns home to begin a four-match homestand against rival No. 3 Stanford Sunday at 7 p.m.
Last week, the Broncos played the final two teams in the country that were yet to allow a goal and snapped both streaks. They topped Arizonaat home Thursday 4-0 but fell at Cal2-1 Sunday.
SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 20-22-8 all-time against Stanford with the first meeting coming in 1980. Last year the Broncos went to then-No. 1 Stanford and snapped the Cardinal's 29-match winning streak with a 1-1 draw.
