SAN BRUNO, Calif. – After being seeded 11th in the NCAA Tournament, Santa Clara women's soccer cleaned up in the postseason All-West Coast Conference awards. Nine different Broncos were honored by the league for their play during the 2020 season.
For the second year in a row Alex Loera was named the WCC Defensive Player of the Year. For the third time in four years and second year in a row Santa Clara had the WCC Freshman of the Year in Sally Menti. Head coach Jerry Smith was also named co-Coach of the Year with Gonzaga's Chris Watkins.
