SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Seattle University came into Stevens Stadium and left with a 2-2 draw against No. 10 Santa Clara women's soccer on Thursday night.
The two teams played a very even first half but the Broncos (1-0-2) held a lead at the break thanks to a goal in the second minute off the foot of Alex Loera from Kelsey Turnbow's corner kick. Shots were 5-4 in the opening half in favor of Santa Clara.
Some sketchy defense midway through the second half cost the Broncos a pair of goals and allowed the Redhawks (1-1-1) to take a lead.
