SANTA CLARA, Calif. – For the second time in three days, Lindsey VanAllen set a career-high in scoring to help lead Santa Clara women's basketball to victory, this time an 83-78 win over San Francisco.
VanAllen, who set a career-high with 27 against Pepperdine on Thursday, scored a new career-high 28 on 8-of-15 shooting from the floor and was 9-of-11 from the free throw line while also adding five rebounds.
She stepped up big in the third quarter as the Broncos (8-4, 2-0 WCC) found themselves down a game-high seven points with five minutes left in the period.
