SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The Santa Clara 2017-18 men's basketball schedule has been completed with Tuesday's announcement of the 18-game West Coast Conference slate, which features games each Thursday and Saturday from late December to the end of February.
After 12 nonconference games, the Broncos open league play on Dec. 28 at home against Pepperdine before traveling to Gonzaga two days later in just the team's second true road contest of the season (at USC on Dec. 14).
Santa Clara, heading into season two under head coach Herb Sendek, will be tested early in WCC play as two of its first eight contests come against Gonzaga, which reached the 2017 NCAA title game.
