SPOKANE, Wash. — There's no clock in volleyball. Which means – until the final point is scored… it's not over.
The Santa Clara University volleyball team was up against it Thursday on the road in Spokane, down two sets to none. But it takes three set victories to win the match, and the Broncos grabbed their opportunity in the third – never trailing – then dominated the fourth set before rolling into the fifth with all the momentum to earn the come-from-behind West Coast Conference victory, beating Gonzaga in five, 3-2 (21-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-15, 15-3), at the Martin Centre.
