SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara volleyball used an efficient offense and solid defensive effort to earn a 25-20, 20-25, 25-14, 25-18 victory over Pacific in a West Coast Conference match on Thursday night.
The Broncos (8-11, 4-5), who posted their fourth-straight win, outhit the Tigers .310 to .144 in the match including hitting .357 in all the sets they won.
Julia Sangiacomo paced the Broncos with a 17-kill, 15-dig double-double while Sophia Tulino added 15 kills and Michelle Shaffer chipped in with 11 kills and nine digs.
Darina Kumanova posted a double-double with 10 kills and 12 digs for Pacific (7-13, 4-5) which lost its third-consecutive match.
