STOCKTON, Calif. – After finding their offensive flow in the previous match, Santa Clara women's soccer kept it going with a 3-1 win at Pacific Wednesday night despite an early deficit.
The Tigers (9-2-1, 1-1 WCC) got on the board in the third minute to jump out in front but the Broncos (5-4-2, 2-0 WCC) defense shut things down after that, allowing just four shots and two on goal in the match while the offense put nine of its 16 shots on target.
Kelsey Turnbow had a big match, scoring twice, once in the 17th to tie the score and again in the 40th to give her team the lead.
