SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's soccer scored three goals in a span of 10 minutes with junior Miles Robinson knocking in a pair to help Santa Clara men's soccer to its first West Coast Conference win of the season, beating Gonzaga 3-1 on Friday night.
Santa Clara (5-8-1, 1-3 WCC) opened up the scoring in the 41st minute on an own goal by Gonzaga's Theo O'Malley. Bronco Javier Ruiz Duran's attempt to slip through the ball inside the 18 was misdirected by O'Malley into the goal getting past the Bulldog goalkeeper Ben Willis who was leaning the other way.
