EL PASO, Texas – Santa Clara softball came up with a split at the Dr. Diana Natalicio Memorial Tournament on Friday, shutting out Buffalo 6-0 before falling to Texas Tech 9-1 in five innings.

Santa Clara (1-4) bats came alive with six runs on 12 hits while Hazyl Gray and Regan Dias combined for a two-hit shutout in the 6-0 win over Buffalo (1-6) in Friday's first game.
Five Broncos tallied two hits each including Lauren LaHood and Marie Martorella who collected two RBIs apiece.
