Softball Welcomes Fresno State in Home Opening Doubleheader on Tuesday

NOTES

• Santa Clara faces Fresno State on Tuesday in a doubleheader home opener after playing the first 10 games on the road.
• This past weekend Santa Clara went 3-2 in the Grand Canyon University Purple Classic.
  • Two of the wins came courtesy of freshman hurler Sage Hager who threw a complete game victory over GCU in her Bronco debut. The next day, Hager tossed four scoreless innings in the 5-2 win over LIU to pick up her second win in as many days.
  • Emma Bickford went 8-for-16 with six RBIs and six runs scored at the GCU Purple Classic.
